Kelly Daniel launched Modern Day Auctions as an online auction service company in 2018 to serve Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY areas. Kelly truly believed that the future of estate sales was on an online platform vs in person. Before that, she was the Founder and Co-owner Within Reason CT LLC, which ran traditional estate sales in Fairfield County, CT since 2011. Combining her expertise in art, furniture, collectibles, her love of interior design and her sales background, this was the next step for her business to grow. Kelly is still an active real estate agent with Brown Harris Stevens in New Canaan, CT as has many contacts from this industry who know and trust her from a business perspective. Kelly has held a variety of Leadership roles in local non-profits including President of New Canaan EMS and she still volunteers there as an EMT. She was also President of the Young Women’s League of New Canaan and on the Board of the National Charity League of New Canaan and the Newcomers Club of New Canaan.
In 2021, Kelly moved her home and her business to Norwalk, CT and she loves being part of this vibrant community, the Chamber of Commerce and she is excited about the growth potential for this area.
The most recent exciting news is that Kelly launched her own online auction platform, Modern Day Bids, in March, after 2 years of development with her brother, Brett Kelts. Kelly felt that there was a need for a better option for her own business and she looks forward to taking this new venture to the next level. Stay tuned for more exciting updates coming soon
